Use Machine Learning to Clean Up gbXML Files

I just found out about Flux using machine learning to create an IFC model from extruded mesh of building objects. For more info on this click here.

I was listening to the gbXML session from SimBuild 2016 the other day and it said that coming up with all of the possible test cases is difficult to do. Then I thought, if we can get enough data or BIM gbXML exports and the correct version ready for energy modeling software, maybe we could train a machine learning algorithm to be able to know how to do that conversion automatically. I’m not sure if this is something that gbXML.org should be working on or a software vendor, but I thought I would talk about it here to see what others thought.

This is a great idea and would be amazing to see if we can find how to fix gbXML.
Lets find join forces to get it working.
