This is most common tool and gbXML exporter that need lots of fixing. Solution should be to produce easy gbMXL viewer that list errors. Than we can keep sending outputs to Autodesk to force improvement implementation. I am referring to to the most basics … all internal wall should have two different spaces on both sides…. we should not have duplicate space IDs, each window should have won ID etc….

New Website looks fine and quite modern.
However, speed is terrible compare to discorse .ie http://discourse.ladybug.tools/

I could not see many replies from gbXML “committee” to users question and comments.
This forum should be the main place on a discussion on development and direction it goes. Currently is dead and I hope become live forum.. see ie Dynamo forum, Ladybug… etc

The forum is not friendly to use and poor functionality. Personally, I do not like it.
However if someone asks me if I can build better one – answer is not. But there are an amazing solution already in place as one that I attached.

I am unable to load to this website my gbXML and see where are an issue with my file… which spaces, which surfaces… etc etc….
I do apologise for honest feedback but my experience with contacting you on gbXML and influencing gbXML is poor.

This is a great idea and would be amazing to see if we can find how to fix gbXML.
Lets find join forces to get it working.

This is a great first step and looks good,
but we need one tool that will allow us to check issues with gbXML and possibly fix it.
Most of the people using Revit but there is also Bentley and ArchiCAD tools.
Unfortunately, they produce a poor quality of gbXML.
We need to have some verified and common platform that allows us to run gbXML checks and if the model is correctly built. Allow us to send comments back with issues on gbMXL so they can implement improvement to gbXML generation engine.

Currently, we need to a tool that will show us following:

Just simple list:
1. spaces names for duplicated spaces
2. spaces names, surface ID of problematic surfaces, polygons
etc…

we just need to fix the most basic step geometry….once this is working all other steps should be easier…
